About this game
Youtubers Life is a 3D tycoon/simulator game where you have to manage your character trying to build a career as a Youtuber. The game is a strong focus on story, time management, and minigames.

Summary of responsabilities
My responsibilities included:

Designed and tuned new gameplay systems for the OMG Edition.

Created spreadsheets with formulas to balance some major systems.

Co-designed the OMG Edition UI with our UI art team.

Designed all the minigames included in the game and their spreadsheets to ensure proper balance.

Wrote character dialogue and UI text.

Designed the full cooking channel DLC.

Worked closely with the marketing department creating content (text and images) for our Social Media
Overall, I spent most of my time between designing, balancing the game, managing team tasks, and collaborating with teammates from all the departments.

Console improvements
Once we decided to bring Youtubers Life to video consoles, we quickly realized that our old UI was too problematic for the console inputs (controllers). Together with my partner Samuel Delgado and David López, we redesigned all the UI to improve several elements and offer an optima game experience for any device. In addition, I redesigned some uncluttering systems or give them more weight in the game experience.


Cooking Channel
I designed all the cooking channel DLC and did some management tasks. In 3 months (approx) we created so many new features required for this channel. We added an inventory for the food, a crafting system for creating recipes, a mini-game inspired by cooking games, and much more.





Minigames
The minigames in Youtubers Life have two objectives: Offer an alternative way in the progress and contribute to breaking with the routine of the core loop.
Each channel has one or more exclusive mini-games.

I planned some trailers, recorded footage for them, and helped during the editions process.
