Summary of responsabilities
My responsibilities included:
-
Defined design philosophy and goals for the project.
-
Designed and tuned all systems such as core gameplay modes and the metagame
-
Co-created the monetization strategy
-
Worked with Analytics consultants to improve and plan live ops strategies
-
Co-designed the UI with our UI art team
-
Wrote all text and dialogues
-
Lead weekly team meetings, content reviews, and managed team task
-
Being involved in marketing and promotion. I created content for social media (image, text, gifs, etc).
My Tubi is the first videogame that I could co-direct from start to finish. A great experience where a small team of just 6 people made a polished game in just 9 months.
Art
The Tubi world shows a toon-verse of the influencers and the web culture. My job was to establish the guidelines for this universe, work that I did in close collaboration with my colleague Narehop (Concept Art & main artist).

Progression
I designed the spreadsheets to balance all the progression systems of the game - card upgrades, unlock furniture and clothing, etc. One of the great challenges was to achieve a balanced progression between the card game and the virtual pet - offering several ways to progress.

New Card Game
I'm really proud of the card game that we've created for My Tubi. I designed the full game - rules, economy, cards, metagame, etc - since the prototype to its current state. I have yet to create an exclusive experience for this card game.
